Exhibit A Media Websites & Marketing

Start with a smarter website plan

Most website projects start with a colour scheme and stock photos, and end with a nicer-looking version of a page that still does not bring in work. This guide starts where I start with every client: seven questions about who the site is for, what it has to do, and what you should own when it is done. Answer them and you have a brief. There is a one-page worksheet at the back to write the answers on.

Free · a 7-question PDF with a one-page worksheet, emailed to you now · no spam, unsubscribe anytime.

The seven questions

  • Who is landing here, and what do they need to see in the first five seconds?
  • What is the one thing you want them to do?
  • Which pages do you actually need? (Fewer than you think.)
  • What proof can you show, and what do you still need to collect?
  • What will it say, and who is writing it?
  • How will people find it on Google and in AI answers?
  • What do you own when it is done: domain, hosting, code, content, customer data?

Why is this free?

Because a client who arrives with the plan already written is the easiest client I ever build for. If the guide helps you brief someone else, or decide you need less website than you thought, good. If it makes you think you would rather have it built properly, you already know who to call. No course, no upsell, no catch.
