Get the most out of your first meeting
The first meeting about your website, marketing, social media or video is where the scope and the price get decided. Some end with a clear plan and a fixed price. Others end with a list of things to follow up on. The difference is usually what is in the room. This guide tells you what to decide and what to bring, so we can settle as much as possible in one sitting. There is a one-page worksheet at the back.
Six things to decide before we meet
- What do you want this to do for your practice?
- What is your budget? (A range is enough.)
- Who makes the final decision?
- Who are your clients, and how do they find you?
- What have you tried, and how did it go?
- How much of your time can you give it?
A word about price
Our prices are published, and we don't haggle over them. We know how long this work takes, so our fee is a fair price for the work, the effort and the time, combined with the experience behind it. If your budget is smaller, tell us the number and we will build a plan that fits it, to the same standard. The guide explains how.
